BASIC ADA REGULATIONS AS IT PERTAINS TO PARKING LOTS (OPP/ELE)

This course will provide students with an understanding of ADA that will allow them to recognize a legally compliant disabled parking stall and signage, understand what is an accessible route and path of travel. They will learn how ramps, slopes and grades differ and when detectable warning surfaces are to be installed. Finally, the students will learn how ADA laws that went into effect on March 15, 2012 changed and how those changes may affect their properties.
